The Chinese authorities have stated that they do not interfere in the internal affairs of other countries

Политика

This was stated at a briefing by the official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Mao Ning.

Mao Ning made the statement, commenting on the words of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg about China's reaction to the death of Alexei Navalny. Stoltenberg stressed that Navalny's death is not an internal matter of Russia, and said that the best response to this would be to support Ukraine in the conflict with the Russian Federation.

The official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry replied that China never interferes in the internal affairs of other countries, unlike NATO. The North Atlantic Alliance should abandon escalating tensions, interfering in the internal affairs of other countries and striving to expand its own power, Mao Ning believes.

The Foreign Ministry representative recalled China's position on Ukraine: Beijing has always advocated peace and negotiations. She also called on NATO to stop distorting the position of the PRC and discredit the republic.
