The Chinese authorities have created a free trade zone in the north-west of the country


The zone is located in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (XUAR), China Central Television reported.

Deputy Minister of Commerce of the People's Republic of China Guo Tingting said that the Chinese government will support this project. In addition, the authorities intend to attract national and foreign resources.

The key task for the Chinese authorities is to create more favorable conditions for investment capital. The government also hopes to stimulate the formation of the digital economy and optimize personnel policy to attract professional personnel. XUAR has become China's 22nd free Trade zone.
