China and Crimea intend to develop cooperation in the field of tourism

Tourists from the People's Republic of China are interested in visiting Crimea, the prospects for tourism development were discussed during the visit of the Chinese delegation to the peninsula, the head of the region Sergey Aksenov said.

"We discussed cooperation in the field of tourism. According to the Chinese side, tourists from China are ready to come to Crimea, who are interested in seeing the riches of our peninsula. In addition, it is necessary to develop cooperation in the information sphere so that Chinese residents have the opportunity to receive up-to-date information about life in the republic first-hand," Aksenov wrote.
He noted that representatives of the media and cultural sphere of the People's Republic of China are on a visit to Crimea. According to him, a possible exchange program for music school students was also discussed during the meeting, writes TASS.
"We are always in favor of such initiatives, because people's diplomacy helps to strengthen mutual understanding between countries. In addition, we agreed on a visit to Crimea by Chinese businessmen to explore the potential together and build business ties. We will definitely consider the opportunity to visit China in response to the invitation of the Chinese delegation," the head of Crimea noted.
