China will launch Chang'e-6 probe to the Moon

China plans to launch the Chang'e-6 probe to the Moon, which will be sent to the South Pole-Aitken basin, located on the far side of the Moon.

Chang'e-6 will automatically collect samples from the Moon for further analysis and research.
Scientists from all over the world will be able to participate in the program — the Chinese National Space Administration has already offered them to deliver the requested equipment to the Moon.
Four cargoes with equipment developed by scientists from France, Sweden, Italy, Russia and China were previously selected. After the detailed plan of the Chang'e-6 mission is completed, the cargo with the equipment that the module will deliver will be finally determined, the scientist said, RIA Novosti writes.
Note, " Chang'e-6, which is planned to be launched to the Moon in 2024, is a backup space mission for Chang'e-5."
In addition, China will conduct lunar resource exploration, scientific research and technological experiments in the framework of the Chang'e-6, Chang'e-7 and Chang'e-8 missions with the aim of building a prototype research station on the Moon by 2030, Hu Hao added.
