Cinematographers from Russia, China and Belarus plan to make films in the Pskov region

This was announced on Tuesday by the press service of the regional government.
"Two films with Chinese and Belarusian participation are planned to be shot in the Pskov region. The details of the implementation of the projects were discussed by the Governor of the Pskov region Mikhail Vedernikov with producer Vadim Byrkin in Moscow at the site of the official representation of the region under the government of Russia. Filming of the Russian-Chinese blockbuster "Red Silk" and the Russian-Belarusian children's and youth feature film "Urban Fairy Tale" are scheduled for 2024," the report says.
According to the press service, during the production of films, it is planned to use the positive experience of implementing a joint project - the film "You can't Cry," writes TASS.
"The film, shot in the Pskov region, took 23 main prizes at 18 Russian and international film festivals. The film also received a rebate of 1 million rubles from the region. During the working meeting, Mikhail Vedernikov and Vadim Byrkin discussed the further development of the cinematographic cluster in the Pskov region," the message reads.
