The airport of the city of Shijiazhuang (Hebei province) in the north of China suspended flights for several hours yesterday due to balloons appearing in the sky.

This was reported on Friday by the Jinan Shibao information portal with reference to the Civil Aviation Administration of the People's Republic of China.
"An unidentified flying object was found in the sky, which was later identified as a balloon. At the moment, air traffic has resumed," the portal quotes a fragment of a statement from the North China regional Civil Aviation Administration.
In early February, the US authorities discovered a Chinese balloon over the continental part of the country at an altitude that significantly exceeded the standard parameters for commercial air transportation. Allegedly, he did not pose a threat to people on earth. Later, the American Armed Forces shot down this "reconnaissance balloon" within the airspace of the United States, which, according to the Pentagon, was engaged in "collecting important information."
