The Russian Ambassador to China discussed with the Deputy Foreign Minister of the People's Republic of China strengthening the coordination of foreign policy

Russian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to China Igor Morgulov held a meeting with Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Xie Feng on Tuesday.

"A thorough exchange of views was held on a number of international and regional issues, the effectiveness of foreign policy coordination was established, steps were outlined to further strengthen it," the diplomatic mission said.
"The general mood was expressed to continue working together to build a just multipolar world order based on universally recognized international legal norms and the central coordinating role of the UN," the embassy said in a statement.
On Monday, the Chinese Foreign Ministry announced that the head of the office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC Central Committee), Politburo member Wang Yi will visit France, Italy, Hungary and Russia from February 14 to 22.
In the informal party-state hierarchy of the People's Republic of China, Wang Yi is the country's highest-ranking diplomat in charge of the most important issues of China's foreign policy and its relations with the leading world powers. According to his informal rank, he is higher than Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang, since Wang Yi is a member of the 24-seat Politburo and is the secretary of the Steering Group on International Policy of the CPC Central Committee, which is chaired by the head of state, Chinese President Xi Jinping, writes TASS.
