China expects that cooperation with Russia will reach a qualitatively new level in 2023, the parties are continuously deepening political mutual trust and closely coordinating positions in international affairs. This was stated on Friday by the Chinese Ambassador to the Russian Federation Zhang Hanhui, opening the Chinese cultural fair in Moscow on the occasion of Chunjie (Spring Holiday, New Year according to the lunar calendar).
"Political mutual trust is continuously deepening, trade and economic cooperation is fruitfully carried out, humanitarian exchanges are actively developing, positions in international affairs are closely and effectively coordinated, and the concept of friendship, passed down from generation to generation, is deeply rooted in the hearts of the peoples of our countries," he said. "We have every reason to expect that in the new year 2023, exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in various fields will reach a qualitatively new level," writes TASS.
