The Chinese government has announced a reduction in domestic retail prices for gasoline and diesel fuel.

The corresponding message was published on Monday on the website of the State Committee for Development and Reform of the People's Republic of China.
The cost of one ton of gasoline from December 20 will be reduced by 480 yuan (about $ 68.8), and diesel fuel - by 460 yuan (about $65.7). After adjustment, a ton of gasoline will cost from 9,190 to 9,630 yuan (from $1,314 to $1,377), and the price of diesel fuel will be from 8,280 to 8,620 yuan (from $1,184 to $1,232).
According to the regulator, the cost of fuel has been adjusted in accordance with changes in world oil prices.
According to the current policy of state regulation of fuel prices in China, if a change in oil quotations on the world market leads to an increase or decrease in the cost of a ton of petroleum products by more than 50 yuan and this situation persists for 10 working days, then gasoline and diesel fuel prices are adjusted, writes TASS.
