Agricultural producers from several regions of Russia will send four trains with 8 thousand tons of rapeseed oil to China in December.

This was reported to the TASS correspondent on Wednesday by Guo Xiaowei, Director General of the Lanli Qingdao international trading company.
"In December, Lanli Qingdao will send four trains with 8 thousand tons of rapeseed oil from Russia to China. They will be delivered to their destinations via the Eurasian railway route, as well as by rail and by sea," he said.
According to the director of the company, this time the supply of rapeseed oil from Russia to China was provided by Russian producers from Krasnodar Krai, Novosibirsk, Altai Krai, Omsk, as well as Tatarstan. In addition to this product, the Chinese company plans to send 2.6 thousand tons of beet pulp, a product used as livestock feed, to China from the Penza region.
"This indicates the beginning of the stage of comprehensive development of supplies of Russian agricultural products to China, carried out by the efforts of our company," Guo Xiaowei stressed. He also expressed hope for expanding partnerships with suppliers from Russia.
The director of the company noted that the transportation of goods from the Russian Federation to China by rail, including under the projects of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative, can significantly reduce the delivery time. "Moreover, logistics costs are reduced," said the head of the company. "As a result, even more Chinese consumers get the opportunity to get fresh and high-quality Russian agricultural products in a short time."
Rapeseed oil contains a lot of polyunsaturated fatty acids. This product, rich in vitamin E, is used in the manufacture of baby food, pastries, sauces, as well as for cooking dishes, including dietary ones, writes TASS.
