China in 2022 increased the supply of means of transport to the Russian Federation by 150% across the land border

In January-July, China increased by about 150% year-on-year the supply of new vehicles (TS) to Russia through the Kraskino-Hunchun border checkpoint.

This was reported on Friday by the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Harbin with reference to the local customs.
As specified on the diplomatic mission's Telegram page, the Russian side imported over 1 thousand units of transport during the specified period. Among the vehicles imported into Russia are diesel dump trucks, semi-trailers, buses, commercial and passenger cars.
The Kraskino-Hunchun automobile checkpoint is one of the important channels for the export of vehicles from China to Russia. In addition, container routes passing through the Mahalino- Hunchun railway border crossing are actively used: more than 50 containers with new Chinese SUVs were sent to the Russian Federation through it in July alone, TASS writes.
