The Foreign Ministers of China and Kyrgyzstan agreed to join forces in connection with global challenges

This was announced by the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
"Both sides believe that China and Kyrgyzstan <...> we must join forces to counter global challenges," reads a statement published on the website of the Chinese Foreign Ministry. It clarifies that Wang and Kulubayev also agreed to "jointly maintain stability, stimulate the development of Central Asia, and jointly oppose actions that lead to unrest and discord in the region."
As the Foreign Ministers of the two states stressed, Beijing and Bishkek are ready to jointly "support genuine multilateral cooperation and defend the fundamental norms of international relations, interacting with the world community."
"We are ready to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation and strengthen traditional friendship with Kyrgyzstan, we will strive to bring the relations of our bilateral comprehensive strategic partnership to a new level," Wang Yi stressed.
Both Ministers announced the intention of the Governments of the two countries to support each other in matters that affect national interests, the protection of sovereignty and State security. "China and Kyrgyzstan are strongly opposed to any external forces interfering in their internal affairs," the report clarifies.
