In China, the minimum daily increase in the number of people infected with coronavirus was recorded in a week

The Chinese authorities have identified 24,268 cases of coronavirus infection over the past day.

As follows from the report published on Friday by the State Committee for Hygiene and Health of the People's Republic of China, this was the lowest since April 8.
Of this number, 3,486 infected people have confirmed symptoms of COVID-19. Among them, 14 people arrived from abroad, 3,472 infected people were identified inside the country. The largest number of cases was recorded in Shanghai (3,200 people) and Jilin Province (174).
The remaining 20,782 cases of infection occur in asymptomatic carriers of the disease. Of these, 88 infected people were identified among people who arrived from abroad. Within China, the largest number of asymptomatic carriers was recorded in Shanghai (19,872 people), Jilin Province (342) and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (136).
Officially, since the beginning of the pandemic, 174.9 thousand confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been detected in China (the PRC authorities do not include data on asymptomatic patients in statistics). The number of deaths is 4,638,
