41009 1280x720In addition, the country is panicking to continue to take an objective and independent position regarding the events that are taking place in Ukraine.

This was stated by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian.
"We are against sanctions and our position is quite clear. On this occasion, the United States has recently made numerous provocative statements concerning China. We will firmly protect the interests of individuals and companies of the People's Republic of China," he said.
In addition, he noted that the United States of America is using all available levers to put pressure on the international community to strengthen sanctions against Russia.
According to the representative of the PRC, "these are undisguised hegemonic threats" that say that the United States is guided by "Cold War thinking."
According to Zhao Lijian, China stands for resolving the issue of escalation in Ukraine by means of aggressive over-negotiations. Sanctions, according to representatives of the PRC, have never been an effective way to solve problems.
"Any attempts to distort China's efforts in this direction, as well as the dissemination of false information to slander China, indicate irresponsibility, they are also immoral," Zhao Lijian concluded.
Earlier, NIA-China reported that China decided not to support unilateral sanctions against the Russian Federation. In addition, China intends to maintain normal trade, economic and financial exchanges.
