China supports Russia's demand for security guarantees, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said on Wednesday ahead of Vladimir Putin's visit to Beijing.

The Russian leader will hold talks with Chinese leader Xi Jinping on February 4.
"Beijing supports Russia's demands for security guarantees, shares the position that the security of one state cannot be ensured by harming the security of another country, and regional stability cannot be ensured by strengthening military alliances," he said.
