In the first 11 months of 2021, China saw a steady increase in the volume of household appliances production, according to data from the Ministry of Industry and Informatization of the People's Republic of China.During this period, the production of air conditioners and washing machines in the country amounted to 197.41 million and 78.33 million units, respectively, an increase of 11.4% and 11.1% year-on-year.
At the same time, Chinese refrigerator manufacturers reduced production by 0.2% compared to the same period in 2020 to 82.53 million units, the ministry said.
According to the data, in November last year alone, the output of refrigerators in China amounted to 16.63 million units, an increase of 3.7% year-on-year, and the production of washing machines in November decreased by 1.5% year-on-year to 8.44 million units.
