D5ED09E4 5F33 480C BCCC 8E331FE37BCFIn 10 months of 2021, the export of Russian beer to China increased by 21% compared to the same period in 2020 - up to 31 million liters, reports Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

In total, in January-October 2021 (data for the EAEU for nine months), Russian beer exports increased by 19% compared to the same period last year and amounted to $ 144 million. In physical terms, deliveries increased by 17% to 308 million liters, the Agroexport Center under the Ministry of Agriculture cites data from the Federal Customs Service (FCS).

The main buyers of Russian beer are the EAEU countries - Belarus (90 million liters, plus 31% compared to last year) and Kazakhstan (57 million liters, +25%). In 2021, China came in third place, increasing purchases of Russian beer by 21% to 31 million liters.
One of the main reasons for the growth of exports, experts call the hot weather this year, which was typical for most of the globe. "Another factor is the depreciation of the ruble, as a result of which Russian producers were able to offer a more attractive price for their export products," Andrei Gubka, chairman of the Council of the Association of Beer Producers (APP), explained to Agroexport.
