Chinese President Xi Jinping will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin on June 28

992x496 1On June 28, Chinese President Xi Jinping plans to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the format of a videoconference.

This was stated by the official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry Hua Chunying.

On May 19, Putin and Xi Jinping took part in a ceremony by video link on the occasion of the start of construction of the seventh and eighth blocks of the Tianwan nuclear power plant, as well as the third and fourth blocks of the Xudapu nuclear power plant in China.

The previous telephone conversation between the leaders of the Russian Federation and China took place on December 28, 2020. Their last personal meeting was held in November 2019 on the sidelines of the BRICS summit (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) in Brasilia.
