China suspects Google of violating the country's antitrust laws

Гугл

This was announced by the State Administration for Market Regulation.

The Chinese authorities have initiated an antitrust investigation against Google. According to the State Administration for Market Regulation, the world's largest search engine violates the antitrust law of the People's Republic of China.

Google's activities in China are limited due to cybersecurity regulations. In particular, services such as Google Play, YouTube, Google Maps, and Gmail have been blocked due to the company's refusal to comply with China's requirements to control politically sensitive content.

Google cooperates with a number of Chinese technology companies and carries out joint research with partners from China. The investigation into the company began in response to US President Donald Trump's decision to escalate the trade war and impose 10% duties on all Chinese products.
