China Southern Airlines has cancelled direct flights from Moscow to Beijing from January 20, ATOR reports. As follows from the information on the company's website, from January 20 to March 30, until the end of the winter period and during the Chinese New Year, there are no flights between the capitals in the schedule.
According to the Association, the situation may affect the travel of 15-17 thousand people. At the moment, work is underway with organized groups of tourists, they are offered alternative options. Currently, connecting tickets to Gaongzhou, as well as flights to Shenzhen, are available for purchase.
It is planned to resume direct flights from Moscow to Beijing from March 30, ATOR reports. In addition, the association noted, Aeroflot, China Eastern and Hainan Airlines are currently operating flights between the capitals, but tickets have already been sold out for the dates of the Chinese New Year celebration.
