The Chinese company Chinarocket has launched a group of small satellites called CentiSpace-1. The event was a success, according to China Central Television. A total of 10 spacecraft were launched into low Earth orbit.
At 11:00 Beijing time (06:00 Moscow time), a four-stage solid-fuel launch vehicle Jielong-3 ("Jielong-3") was launched from a platform in the Yellow Sea, which launched the satellites into orbit, the TV channel reports. This is the fifth mission for carriers of this type.
The satellites were launched as part of the Chinese national space program, implemented with the support of the state. Chinese specialists are developing meteorological, telecommunication and navigation satellites and technologies designed for the exploration of the Moon, as well as the exploration of asteroids and Mars.
