It is planned to create a stronghold of Novosibirsk State Technical University (NSTU) NETI on the basis of the school in China, the university's press service reports. The annual international Olympiad "The Future of Siberia" will be held there.
The delegation of Novosibirsk University discussed issues of cooperation with the Chinese side during a visit to China. The parties discussed the organization of summer and winter schools, as well as scientific and educational internships in various fields of training.
In addition, the NSTU hosted an Olympiad for applicants from China. More than 400 people took part in it. The Future of Siberia is a scholarship program for foreigners. Winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad can receive a quota from the Government of the Russian Federation for free bachelor's degree programs in English and Russian.
