Nizhny Novgorod Region plans to deepen ties with China in the field of high technologies and is ready to build partnerships with Chinese technology parks, said Dmitry Starostin, Deputy Chairman of the regional government, who is in Shanghai on a working trip.
At the moment, a world-class IT campus "Neymark" is being built in Nizhny Novgorod, designed for 7 thousand students, he recalled. In this regard, the region expects full-fledged cooperation with China and hopes that relations with the republic in the field of information technology will progress.
Starostin also noted that the Nizhny Novgorod Region plans to strengthen and develop partnerships with Chinese universities and technology parks, as well as invite experts from China to lecture at Neymark. On the basis of this cooperation, new developments in the field of IT will appear, he believes.
