According to the director of the REC, negotiations are currently underway with Chinese partners to organize festivals and fairs in five provinces of the People's Republic of China, where they had not previously been held. Nikishina made such a statement during the exhibition "Made in Russia" in Chengdu (Sichuan province).
At the same time, she noted, the provinces of Liaoning and Heilongjiang, where such festivals and fairs have already been held, are interested in organizing them on a regular basis. For example, Liaoning Province offered to sign an agreement so that the Russian side would always hold a winter festival on the eve of the Chinese New Year.
As for Heilongjiang Province, from May 2025, exhibitions "Made in Russia" can begin to be held there on the margins of the Harbin Fair. According to experts, the first two festivals were attended by more than 2 million people. Even more consumers got acquainted with Russian products online, Nikishina stressed.
