Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Qiang met with the head of the Mongolian Cabinet Luvsannamsrain Oyun-Erdene in Shanghai. According to the press service, the parties agreed to further strengthen trilateral cooperation between Mongolia, China and Russia.
Luvsannamsrain Oyun-Erdene and Li Qiang also stressed the success of the meeting of the heads of government of Mongolia, the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China in Islamabad in October 2024. The diplomats discussed foreign policy, paying special attention to strategic ties with Moscow, the official press service reports.
Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin noted at a meeting in Islamabad that one of the priorities in Moscow's foreign policy is to strengthen friendly relations with Beijing and Ulaanbaatar, close neighbors and strategic partners.
