The opening ceremony of the exhibition took place at the National Exhibition and Congress Center. The event was attended by Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Qiang. According to the organizers, this year more than 3.4 thousand companies from 152 countries and regions of the world are taking part in the exhibition.
Over 90 companies from the Russian Federation also present their products. The national exposition, with the support of the Russian Export Center, is deployed in the united pavilion under the Made in Russia brand. This year, Russian manufacturers have introduced many more new product lines than in 2022.
According to Veronika Nikishina, General Director of the REC, there is now an increase in interest from both Russian business and Chinese entrepreneurs. For exporters from the Russian Federation, showing products at the CIIE exhibition is a great opportunity to get to know a foreign buyer and strengthen existing ties.
