A single brand of the Great Tea Way tour route will be created to promote cross-border travel between the three countries, Vakhrukov said. The action plan was signed last year, and work is underway on its implementation, he stressed.
Currently, the parties are discussing the creation of common standards, specific geography and facilities that will form the basis of the route. The new brand will be presented at international exhibitions as a single route of the three countries, said the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation following a meeting of heads of tourist administrations of Russia, China and Mongolia.
Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China Zhang Zheng, in turn, noted that a special joint exhibition stand "The Great Tea Way" will work at the China International Travel Mart in Shanghai to promote the cross-border route. This path represents a precious historical and cultural heritage shared by the peoples of the three countries, he stressed.
