In China, as part of a nationwide COVID-19 vaccination campaign, more than 800 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered as of the end of June 8.

A total of 808.96 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered, the State Committee for Health Affairs of the People's Republic of China reported on June 9. It is expected that at least 70% of the priority population groups in China will be vaccinated against COVID-19 by the end of this year, said Deputy head of the department Zeng Yixing. Vaccination of priority population groups in China began on December 15, 2020.
