The Days of the Vologda Region will be held in China for the first time. Trade, economic, tourism and cultural potential will be presented at them. China is one of their main trading partners for the region, Governor Georgy Filimonov stressed.
It is planned to hold business events in Beijing and Shanghai, and a delegation from the Vologda Region will also visit Xi'an and Suzhou. According to Filimonov, this will be a significant step in expanding and strengthening interregional cooperation with China.
In addition, work is currently underway to open a permanent trade representative office in the Vologda Region in China. Previously, humanitarian projects were implemented by the region and China. For example, Shaolin monks took part in the International Martial Arts Festival in Cherepovets.
