The World Congress of cars powered by alternative energy sources was held in the administrative center of Hainan Province in southern China — World New Energy Vehicle Congress, WNEVC. The event lasted three days.
The event attracted representatives of political and scientific circles, as well as businessmen from various fields. The participants discussed the issues of sustainable and healthy development of the automotive industry based on new energy sources, writes Haikou Zhibao.
Following the event, a number of documents on cooperation were signed. Recall that the Hainan authorities intend to completely stop selling cars with gasoline and diesel engines by 2030 in order to improve the environment.
