The tourist area in the Yalongwan Bay area is recognized as one of the ten most popular resorts for tourists entering China, the rating compilers noted. This was facilitated by the optimization of the rules of inbound tourism conducted by the Hainan authorities, Sanya Zhibao notes.
High-class hotels have been built in Sanya, where the staff speaks foreign languages. City signs have also been translated into several languages. In addition, there is a hotline for tourists, whose operators can provide advice in English, Korean, Russian and Japanese around the clock. By 2025, the authorities intend to turn Hainan into an international center for tourism and consumption.
