According to the organizers, this year the maximum number of participants in the history of the forum has registered for the event. Representatives from more than 90 countries and international organizations gathered in Beijing. The forum will last until September 14th.
According to the organizers, the main goal of the forum is to combine knowledge and wisdom, expand consensus, strengthen mutual trust, and ensure a balanced, effective and sustainable security architecture. The event will feature relevant sessions and panel discussions.
Four plenary sessions will be held during the FSB, as well as eight thematic sections and high-level dialogues, to which leading experts are invited. The Shanghai Cooperation Organization also plans to hold a meeting of young employees of the SCO Salon+ analytical centers.
