China's state security agencies have uncovered more than a thousand cases of theft of intelligence data related to Taiwanese spies and eliminated a large number of spy networks, the report says.
The article also notes that the competent authorities have taken strict precautions, as well as severely suppressed actions on the theft of intelligence data, espionage and sabotage directed against the Chinese mainland.
The state security agencies of the People's Republic of China are also fighting actions aimed at using the Taiwan issue to contain China, attempts by supporters of "Taiwan independence" to "collude with external forces" are being suppressed, the MGB emphasizes.
