According to the publication, more than 11.4 thousand enterprises have been registered in the innovation development zone "Yazhouvan" in Sanya, South China's Hainan Province, over 5 years. Some of them are included in the list of the leading commercial structures of the PRC.
The leading private organizations in China also create their representative offices and subsidiaries in the territory of the science city. In addition, such state-owned corporations as China National Seed Group, Sinochem Group, Da Bei Nong and others operate at the Yazhouwan site.
One of the key tasks of the innovation development zone is the formation of new industry chains by new enterprises, as well as the creation of a reliable basis for expanding appropriate channels of interaction. The Hainan authorities expect that the capitalization of the science city will eventually exceed 100 billion yuan.
