The celebration took place at the Institute of Foreign Languages of the Moscow Pedagogical University. The event featured music by Russian composers, as well as poems by Alexander Pushkin in Russian and Chinese.
Many Russian writers and poets visited the fair. They will take part in several events related to cooperation between the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China in the field of literature. In particular, a scientific and practical seminar is planned for publishers of the two countries.
According to the organizers, over 220 thousand books from more than 70 countries and regions are presented at the Beijing International Book Fair. At the Russian stand, which opened the day before, you can see books from the Russian Federation on history, culture and regional studies.
