According to Igor Morgulov, Director of the Bolshoi Theatre of China (National Center for Performing Arts) Wang Ning has consistently been one of the active supporters of the development of Russian-Chinese cooperation in the humanitarian field and is a great admirer of Russian culture.
Wang Ning took office in May 2018. During this time, he has noticeably increased the number of performances and established long-term contacts with leading Russian musical and theatrical groups, the Russian ambassador stressed.
Igor Morgulov also said that in the next two years it is planned to organize joint productions of theaters in Russia and China. In turn, Wang Ning noted that he would continue to make active efforts to strengthen mutual understanding between the peoples of Russia and China and deepen friendly exchanges between them.
