Выборы

This was announced by the press attache of the Russian diplomatic mission in Beijing, Georgy Egorov.

According to Egorov, voting in the presidential election at the embassy took place normally, without incidents and provocations. He stressed that voter activity was high: in Beijing and Shanghai, queues of tens of meters of those wishing to vote were lined up throughout the day.

The elections were attended not only by Russians permanently residing in China, but also by students, travelers, employees of companies on a business trip to China, and touring creative teams.

Georgy Egorov noted the atmosphere of celebration and unity that prevailed at the embassy throughout the day. He also thanked every compatriot who came to cast their vote. Polling stations were opened in six Chinese cities: Beijing, Hong Kong, Harbin, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Shenyang.
