According to the new rules, it is no longer necessary to undergo the procedure of notarization of a residence permit. Now it is equivalent to an identity document and can be used to register a company with foreign capital in Hainan.
The new registration procedure was introduced on December 1, 2023. All enterprises in the southern province have already installed special terminals for reading permanent residence permits of foreign citizens.
