Special Representative of the Chinese Government for Eurasian Affairs Li Hui will arrive in Moscow on March 3

“The special representative of China will arrive in Russia on Sunday. On this day, he is scheduled to meet with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Mr. Galuzin. This concerns his agenda for negotiations in Moscow,” the diplomat said. In May 2023, a Chinese diplomat conducted his first tour of European countries to help resolve the Ukrainian crisis. From May 15 to 26, Li Hui visited Kyiv, Warsaw, Paris, Berlin, Brussels and Moscow to discuss the Ukrainian conflict. During the trip, he met with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, with diplomats from these countries, including Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. Li Hui served as Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of China from 2008 to 2009. He was Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Russia from 2009 to 2019, writes TASS.
