For the first time, a pilot project was launched there to prepare Chinese schoolchildren for university admission. According to the press service, with its help, students will be able not only to prepare for university admission, but also to adapt to a new culture.
Students from China will live in a dormitory with their peers from Russia. Six students have already started their studies, and in the summer they will have to take entrance exams for engineering specialties at NSU. Now teenagers are studying not only specialized subjects, but also the Russian language.
Yevgeny Sagaidak, Head of the Department of Education Export at NSU, said that the Physics and Mathematics School of Novosibirsk State University has been operating for 60 years. During this time, talented children from different parts of Russia have been trained there. This year, it was decided to apply a similar approach to the training of motivated students from China to study in the Russian Federation.
