Heilongjiang University and FEFU will launch short-term courses in several areas. Teachers will give lectures in the language of the audience: Chinese specialists — in Russian, and FEFU teachers — in Chinese.
The parties agreed on this at a meeting of representatives of the two universities in Vladivostok. The delegations discussed the possibilities of developing academic mobility and agreed to launch short-term exchange courses in several areas of training, including engineering and biomedical. A special feature of the programs will be teaching in the native language of students at the host university.
Cooperation between the two universities has been going on since 1990. Universities actively exchange students and teachers studying Russian and Chinese languages. In the new project, participants of exchange programs will be offered short-term courses in Chinese or Russian. In addition, universities are considering the possibility of launching new double-degree programs.
