According to Mao Ning, China has always opposed unilateral sanctions. She also stressed that China and Russia will continue trade and economic cooperation.
The countries in their partnership will proceed from the spirit of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit, Mao Ning said. Trade and economic cooperation between China and Russia should not be subject to interference and restrictions by any third party, the politician believes.
The Arctic LNG — 2 project provides for the construction of three production lines for the production of liquefied natural gas with a capacity of 6.6 million tons per year. Its participants, in addition to China, are Russia, France and Japan.
