The main participants of the project will be Roscosmos and the Chinese National Space Administration (CNSA). The government's press service noted that in the future, international partners may be involved in the project.
The project will be implemented in three stages. First, experts from both countries will determine a suitable location on the Moon for the station and prepare everything for a safe landing on the surface. At the second stage, it is planned to create a joint control center, orbital modules, as well as the delivery of bulk cargo to the satellite. The third stage involves the exploration of the Moon.
In addition, the countries will cancel customs duties for goods that will be used within the framework of this mission. The explanatory note notes that the adoption of the agreement "will not entail negative socio-economic, financial and other consequences, including for business entities and other economic activities.
