Xi Jinping stressed that China and Korea are friendly neighbors, and the traditional friendship between the two countries is strengthening over time. Therefore, the PRC is ready to develop relations with the DPRK, despite the changing international and regional situation.
The President of the Republic also noted that he is ready, together with Kim Jong-un, to stimulate the advancement and development of relations between China and Korea.
The message was sent in response to Kim Jong-un's congratulatory telegram on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
