At talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Beijing, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said that several events should be held in 2024 on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. This should be done in order to strengthen mutual strategic trust.
The events will help strengthen traditional friendship and further promote friendly relations passed down from generation to generation, the Chinese minister believes.
Sergey Lavrov arrived in Beijing on October 16. He will take part in the international forum "One Belt, One Road". The event will be held from October 17 to 18.
