Deliveries of corn and rice to China from all over Russia may begin in 2023

The cancellation of regionalization in the supply of corn and rice from Russia to China may occur before the end of 2023, the press service of the Rosselkhoznadzor reported, citing Olga Zakharova, head of the Department of Internal Phytosanitary and Land Supervision, Quality control and Grain Safety of the department.

As explained to TASS in the press service of the Rosselkhoznadzor, the cancellation of regionalization will mean allowing the supply of corn and rice from all over Russia, and not only from its individual regions.
"Now the Rosselkhoznadzor is actively working on the abolition of regionalization for the supply of corn and rice to China, which may occur before the end of 2023," the report says.
In addition, the issue of the admission of rye flour, semolina, bran, soy meal, mung beans, beans and other products is being worked out. At the same time, the main efforts are aimed at obtaining the possibility of exporting winter wheat and barley to China, the agency reports, writes TASS.
