A park for the production of semi-finished products from Russian seafood will open in the Chinese province of Hunchun in the summer of 2024.

This will increase the demand for Russian seafood in the Chinese market by 60%, CEO Tieyue Yiheng (Dalian) Development Co., Ltd. told TASS. Li Naibin on the sidelines of the VI International Fishing Forum and the exhibition of the fishing industry, seafood and technology.
"This will be a park for Russian seafood, we will not only store them there, but also process them into semi-finished products. Young people in China will not buy and cook fish at home, so we will make semi-finished products for them. They will sell much better. The park will be located in Hunchun on the border with Russia and will open in July next year," she said.
Li Naibin added that the approximate volume of crabs supplied will be 500 tons, and fish - 30 thousand tons.
"We will think over how many different products we will make from Russian fish for the Chinese market. Now we mainly bring fish from Russia and sell it, we do not process it. In the future, we want to come up with some kind of taste or make fillets," she said.
According to preliminary calculations, thanks to the park, the demand for Russian seafood in the Chinese market will increase by about 60%, writes TASS.
