This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the People's Republic of China.
As specified on the department's WeChat page, the exercises will begin at the end of August and last until mid-September. They will be held in Singapore.
During the maneuvers, as noted, the servicemen of the two countries plan to work out the methods used in conducting sniper operations, as well as undergo training in close hand-to-hand combat and landing. In addition, soldiers and officers will have to improve the skills necessary for the successful completion of hostage rescue missions.
It is assumed that these events "will strengthen the Chinese-Singaporean practical inter-army cooperation, increase the level of training of the Armed Forces of China and Singapore in real combat mode," writes TASS.
