The number of victims as a result of an explosion at a mine in Shaanxi province in the north-west of China has increased to 11.

Earlier, TV informed about seven dead and four people trapped under the rubble. The incident occurred late on Monday at a facility in the city of Yan'an. According to preliminary investigation data, the cause of the explosion was a gas leak.
