Nine people died in a hotel fire in southern China

A fire in one of the hotels in Guizhou province in southern China claimed the lives of nine people, two more were injured.

This was reported by the local authorities.
According to the emergency management department of Lipin County, where the emergency occurred, the fire occurred on Friday at about 01:00 Beijing time (20:00 Moscow time Thursday).
The fire was quickly extinguished. The injured were taken to the hospital. The cause of the incident is being investigated, an investigation is underway, writes TASS.
